History of Crystals
The History of Rocks/Crystals
Crystals began to form millions of years ago deep within the earth’s crust, there are three main types of Crystal formation;
Igneous or “primary” minerals, which are formed directly from molten rock (Magma) and their crystals are formed when the magma cools and solidifies. This principle is the first and oldest formation of minerals.
Sedimentary or “secondary” minerals are formed from weathering and transportation, through the power of the weather on existing rock. By dissolving and transporting it to where it will finally be deposited to form new crystals, the most common of all, being Limestone.
Metamorphic or “tertiary” minerals, are formed from Igneous or Sedimentary rock layers deep in the crust being pushed up to our surface and by immense heat and pressure changing their shape and appearance.
Healing properties of Igneous Rocks
Help us to see and educate our inner potential, by supporting us in our journey. They will aid the necessary growth to help us achieve our goals.
Healing properties of Sedimentary Rocks
These minerals were formed by influences in their environment and their healing powers will also reflect this aspect. They make it easier for us to understand and believe our surroundings and development and to pass away any negativity, by helping us look at situations in a different and positive light.
The healing properties of Metamorphic Rocks
Help us move on from what is comfortable and gives us the strength to progress and take control of our lives. These crystals encourage necessary change to give a more fulfilled life.
